“Whether the day is for writing, designing, or painting,
the consistent practice of a morning routine
is the doorway into it all.”
– Elle Luna
The correlation between a gratitude practice and greater perceived levels of happiness – as well as improved overall physical, mental and emotional well-being – has been shown in study after study.
Use the Gratitude Breakfast Club to jump-start or deepen your practice. It works even if you’re not an early riser! Gratitude, community, and connection help no matter the time of day. So, if you want breakfast for dinner, and your GBC gathering to happen in the afternoon or evening, let’s schedule a time that works best for you!
Choose your customizable series from the following offerings:
Get Started!
If you don’t have an established gratitude practice, or if the one you have is inconsistent or has lost its oomph and sizzle, the “Get Started!” series is for you! We’ll look at the scientific and spiritual evidence supporting the physical, mental, and emotional benefits of a consistent gratitude practice to strengthen your “why.” You’ll also receive strategies, guided meditations, breathwork, affirmations, and “appreciation accelerators” that make it easy and fun to reap the rewards of a consistent practice.
Moms’ Circle
The peace, community, and connection the Gratitude Breakfast Club provides is so important for mothers. We need to fill our cups so we have ample stores of the love, patience, and care we want to give. We can’t give what we don’t have.
Sometimes we need support late at night or in the wee hours of the morning when we finally carve out quiet time for ourselves or just can’t sleep. Support can also be particularly useful just before bath and bedtime to deal with the flurry of work, exhaustion, and upsets that can happen then.
Choose this series designed specifically for mothers or set up the occasional individual call to get the support you need (see below)! Let me know what time works best for you and your parenting schedule.
Providing space for parenting connection and support is one of the driving forces of the GBC. I want to help give what I so needed when I was the solo parent of a young child.
Compassionate Communication
Foundations, Intermediate, Advanced Options
Deepen your gratitude practice and improve your communication skills by diving into the Compassionate Communication series, based on the remarkable work of psychologist Marshall Rosenberg. His nonviolent communication paradigm offers a step-by-step process for cultivating self-awareness, taking personal responsibility, and communicating in a way that fosters connection, conflict resolution, and healthy relationships.
Complaint-Free Living
Your thoughts create your world, and your words indicate what you’re thinking. If you’re constantly complaining, you’re draining your energy and undermining the creation of a life you love. You’re also disconnected from your ideal life if you’re constantly on the receiving end of others’ complaints.
This series explores the principles and practices of a healthy, complaint-free life that’s still filled with compassion and empathy. Work with community and connection to take your gratitude practice off the page and into the “talk you talk” and the “walk you walk”!
The Wisdom of Poets
So many of us reflexively think, “I’m not really into poetry,” but this isn’t your high school English class! The beauty, power, wisdom and connection that this series inspires is profound. The international poets – acclaimed, unknown, spoken word, and classical – whose voices and perspectives are shared during this series will make you look at poetry – and your life – in new and wonderful ways.
I (Will) Love My Beautiful Body!
So many things can go wrong with our bodies, yet we woke up today and are still here, filled with the potential of life. Whether because of pain, cultural standards, racism, capitalism and the ways that making us doubt our bodies’ worth and beauty can reinforce the status quo or be a moneymaker for a variety of companies (the beauty industry was worth more than $430 billion in 2022), we often dwell on what we perceive as “wrong” with our bodies. But to enjoy our best lives – including our best sexual pleasure – we need to appreciate our bodies. This series takes us on a journey to do just that. Experience meditations and prompts that allow you to dive deeply into what you can revel in and celebrate about your body. You may be surprised!
Individual Wake-up Call!
Whether you need a wake-up call in the morning to start your day right or a mid-day boost to healthily overcome the afternoon blahs, you can schedule an individual gratitude wake-up call for in-the-moment support.
I reach out to you by phone for this interactive 20-minute call to guide you through a mindfulness exercise, breathing technique, and reflection and gratitude prompt that helps you manage stress and cultivate joy.
Pricing
For services to individuals, I operate in the paradigm of “Sacred Economics” and the gift economy. After your call or series, you may pay the amount that matches the benefit you feel you received.
To get started, please let me know how many are in your group and which series will be helpful.
